Perhaps the descriptions of each ranged weapon could state the actual range, the length of the weapon's reach. The two-column table could have one more row. Fitz

• I don't see why this is necessary since ranged weapons in-game can be used to hit any creature that is within the PCs line and range of sight. Others might have a different opinion. The only thing that matters in the game is the range for point blank shot to apply (15 feet) which affects attack rolls. A PC with a shortbow can shoot creatures just as far as a PC with a longbow, sling or throwing weapon can. Harleyquin 13:24, 19 April 2006 (PDT)
