Talk:Imbue arrow

What's the ranged attack DC calculation for this feat? Everytime I use this the ranged touch attack DC is always a constant value plus zero. Harleyquin 16:22, 11 May 2006 (PDT)
[edit] Imbue Arrow: Damage Distribution
Note that the imbued arrow does physical, magical, and fire damage.
On a touch attack hit on a hostile creature, physical and magical damage are dealt to a targeted creature and the fire ball effect is applied to all hostile creatures within the area. On a touch attack miss, only the fire damage, as a result of the explosion is dealt. No touch attack is made if you target a friendly or neutral creature nor is on disturbed triggered for that creature. Using imbue arrow without a bow will only make an initiative check. The fire damage only affects hostile creatures and placeables.
The touch attack DC (as best as I can tell) is BAB + Dex Modifier + Weapon AB (need more testing). There is no +1 for point blank.
Physical damage does not penetrate DR. It is calculated as the base damage of the weapon (1d8 piercing for longbow , 1d6 piercing for shortbow)
Magical damage is equal to the number of enchant arrow feats.
The fireball, the physical damage, and the magical damage, ignore spell level immunity and spell resistance as the arrow and explosion are real. WhiZard 18:08, 25 March 2007 (PDT)
