Polearm weapon

A polearm weapon is a long pole which is affixed with something on the end. This could be a blade, a sharp point or a combination of both. They are specifically designed to attack opponents who are using shorter melee weapon as the reach of the polearm is significantly greater.

The halberd, scythe, spear and trident are polearm weapons in Neverwinter Nights.
