Para-elemental

A para-elemental is an inhabitant of one of the inner planes formed where two pure elemental planes meet.

• Ice Elementals dwell where Air meets Water.
• Ooze Elementals dwell where Earth meets Water.
• Magma Elementals dwell where Earth meets Fire.
• Smoke Elementals dwell where Fire meets Air.

• Only true inhabitants of these planes are para-elementals.
• Imps and Mephits are formed by drawing substances from these para-elemental planes, but are not themselves para-elementals.
