Neverwinter Nights and its expansions are available on the Apple Macintosh platform (for Mac OS X only). Currently, they are available only as standalone products (there is no Platinum version for the Mac).

System requirements for the Mac version of Neverwinter Nights and its expansions are available on publisher MacSoft's website for each product.
Note that the system requirements were increased for the Hordes of the Underdark Mac expansion.
[edit] Installing and updating
Note: this section deals only with installing and updating from the MacSoft-published Mac versions. Installing and updating using PC version resources on a Mac will be covered in a separate article.
NWN for the Mac ships as version 1.30, while both Mac expansions ship as version 1.62. There is no automatic update facility, so patches must be applied manually. Updates and instructions are available from developer BioWare's patches page.
Due to a quirk in the expansion installers, currently both expansions need to be installed on a version of Mac NWN (and expansion, if any) no greater than 1.62.
