Double-sided weapon

A double-sided weapon is a weapon designed such that both ends can be used to strike opponents. These weapons require two hands to wield.

For purposes of off-hand attacks, wielding a double-sided weapon functions similar to wielding two separate weapons. For a double-sided weapon, the off-hand side is considered to be a light weapon. The weapon still has dual-wield penalties applied to it (which can be reduced with the appropriate feats).

Double-sided weapons are dual-wield weapons, so the main hand receives 100% of the strength bonus and the offhand gets 50%.
