Coding
From NWNWiki
Coding as applied to an OSRS feature means that the idea is being developed, but is considered incomplete. In order to be considered as coding status, there needs to be some actual code posted and linked to the feature page. There might be more than one code set as well. So-called alpha and beta releases also fall into this status description.
[edit] NWN Open Source Rule Set submission logo
- You can provide your own custom content to OSRS.
- You can use this logo as soon as you have posted an article that includes your custom content here on NWNWiki.
- You must hotlink your logo to point back to your article here on NWNWiki.
- Hotlinking your OSRS submission logo provides instant verification that your content has indeed been submitted and is under public review by the OSRS.
- Your article on NWNWiki is treated just like any other public content submission.
- Your article on NWNWiki can provide external links to your own website, other articles, etc.
- Use this logo to show to your audience that you believe and participate in the Wiki foundations of open source, public domain, collective development, and all that jazz.
- Your use of this logo helps you by acknowledging to others that you have submitted your code up to public review, discussion, and further enhancement.
- Your use of this logo helps OSRS by generating further interest in the OSRS.
- Use of the OSRS Submission Logo does not certify that your content is compatible, only that you have submitted it for inclusion as part of the OSRS; This in itself is a candid submission that you believe your content to be worthy of inclusion in a world-class public rules set.
- If you find a logo in use that does not link to a correct NWNWiki article, please notify NWNWiki by posting a message on the logo's talk page.
