Chaos spittle

Slaadi can spit gobs of chaos at any target within their range as a ranged touch attack. Damage varies by slaad:

Black slaad: 20d4

White slaad: 10d4

If assigned to any other creature, this spell will do HD / 2 * d4 points of magical damage.

• Requires Hordes of the Underdark.
• This attack form is normally limited to certain outsiders, such as the slaadi. It is also available, in a modified form, to the shifter player character class if the character takes the outsider shape feat.
• Although the documentation states that the damage die used is a d6, the damage as rolled in the script is computed using d4's.
• Although the comments in the script indicate that a successful hit will allow the target to make a reflex save for which the effects of the evasion and improved evasion feats are applicable, this is not readily apparent.
• A critical hit will do double damage.
