Acid damage

Acid damage is generally caused by the corrosive nature of some creature attacks and spells (e.g. Mestil's acid breath and Melf's acid arrow). The damage can be reduced via the feats resist energy and epic energy resistance. Items with acid resistance or acid immunity will either reduce or remove acid damage altogether.
