An aberration has a bizarre anatomy, strange abilities, an alien mindset, or any combination of the three.
Examples include:
- Battle devourer
- Beholder
- Drider
- Eyeball
- Illithid (also known as a mind flayer)
- Intellect devourer
- Umber hulk
